Companions have already made their mark during the course of their careers. They are leaders of successful organisations from across public, private and third sectors.
In their role as Companions of CMI, they are joining an exclusive network of the most senior leaders, with the opportunity to extend input and influence beyond the confines of one's career. A key responsibility for Companions is to shape the future direction of the management profession.
Benefits of becoming a Companion:
Exclusive networking opportunities, including monthly Dining Club events
Profile-raising activity, reinforcing your reputation as a senior leader
A lasting legacy, providing help and assistance to the next generation of leaders
CMI Companions help us to raise standards in management & leadership in a number of ways, including:
Representing CMI on influential panels and forums
Advocating best practice within organisations by endorsing CMI
Coaching and mentoring future leaders
Speaking at key events on management & leadership
CMI Companions are selected on an invitation only basis, with selection based upon an exhaustive review of the candidates' career by our Independent Assessment Panel, looking at management impact at a strategic level. A yearly subscription fee of £232 is charged and for those who are retired and are professionally inactive, a fee of £116 is available.
