The NHS Leadership Academy has launched a new feedback tool to help employees identify the leadership skills they possess.
It is hoped staff will also identify their training and career development needs through the tool, which is being introduced to support the Leadership Framework implemented by the secretary of state for health in June.
Sue Mortlock, who has led on the development of the 360 tool on behalf of the NHS Leadership Academy, hopes that the platform will be as successful as the original tool that was launched in 2002.
"We have taken our learning from that work and incorporated it into the new tool. The leadership framework has been developed as a result of an extensive consultation with stakeholders. The Leadership Framework 360 has also road-tested with a diverse range of staff from the service and aligns with the Leadership Framework," she added.
The Leadership Framework is an overarching framework introduced by the government to boost management and leadership skills of all staff in health and care, irrespective of discipline, role or function.
Maximise your team's potential and make the most of your training budgets.

Have you got any details on what this is? At first glance it sounds like 360 degree feedback but perhaps I am missing something.
Looks like it's here Vincent
