Diary of an Intern- Day 23

I am now half way through my fifth week here at the CMI, and time seems to be wizzing by! I have been off the blog for a few days as I had some time off to move last week, which was fairly stressful but now I have started to settle in it's nice to have a change of scenery!

This week has been quite exciting, have been busy manning the blog for Adi who is on holiday for the week so I hope I have been doing a good job! Yesterday I went to Corby again, but this time for a sports day! It was organised as a social event for everyone who works for the CMI so we could all mix and mingle and have some fun! It was nice for the two offices to come together and I really enjoyed the barbeque and the events, particular highlights included watching Narinder in the 3 legged race and the welly wanging! The day ended with ice creams from the ice cream van and a prize giving ceremony.

Until the end of the week I will be doing some research for the Director of communications and Marketing and continuing to work on the Media Guide so I have lots to be concentrating on and lots to keep me busy.  I will keep you all updated as I go into my last few days, and letting you know my thoughts on what I have learnt from the whole experience and the valuable skills I will be taking away.
