Best trained work force in Britain
Service leavers from HM Forces posses the skills many civvy street Corporates lack? Bold statement? Let’s see.....
Leadership - while highly regarded in Civvy Street (CS) surely a military life in "theatre" beats CS?
Reliability - out in the pub last night? Sore head? Not applicable to SL.
Flexibility - oh to know what the bad guys (CS interpret as competition) are going to do next - again, no competition on this skill set.
Courage - I won't even go there.
Initiative - yup, the senior digital chap is very creative and has huge initiative. The SL? When the SO (Senior Officer) is not around and its "noisy", well lets agree that this may be an equal.
The purpose of this entry is only to raise the awareness of a "hidden" skill set from corporate UK. That of the service leaver who struggles to inform you, the senior HR Director of Financial Mile, IT geek senior, Production Manager and Engineering Director of corporate XYZ, that perhaps, just perhaps, you are missing a trick. Nothing more.

No offence Keith but I think we get the picture :) That's 4 or 5 blogs now in double quick time, all saying pretty much the same thing. As this is something that you do for a living it almost comes across as a sales pitch, which I don't suppose is your intention, and certainly isn't the purpose of a blog.
Its not what I do for a living. No offence Wayne but you dont have to read them.
KTAL does provide recruitment services for servicemen though doesn't it? It's just overkill that's all. Of the four latest blogs, three of them are yours, all saying the exact same thing (servicemen good, civvymen bad).
If there was evidence to back it up then fine, but there isn't that I can see. I'm sure that the cause of servicemen is a valid and worthwhile one, but posting the same message over and over isn't likely to do your cause much good.
Of course I don't have to read them, as you don't have to read anything I write, I'm just offering up my feedback based on the many blogs I read online.
Check this out for instance - http://www.problogger.net/archives/2006/02/18/writing-good-content/
The two pillars of good content are usefulness and uniqueness. Just something to consider.
Wayne, Thanks for this. debate is good.
KTAL do not provide any paid service to the MoD / CTP or Service Leavers. We do provide pro bono / free service as a gesture to our branve soldiers - that point I make no appology for.
It is not my intention to "wind" anyone up by blogging. I read many blog articles and how it brings "fantastic comments" and raises awareness - thus, blogging is sales. Everytime everyone walks out their front door they are selling themselves. Please think outside the box with that comment.

Also, thanks to everyone not know by myself who tweeted these articles as you must have continued to find them useful.
Some may think that your comments above are anti Service Leavers. I do not. I have never served. I do not get paid by any related MoD avenue. I am merely raising the awareness of their skill set. To think that I am anti civvy when I make my money from civvy is abserd. I do, however, encourage debate and freedom to express opinion and encourage that.
Sorry it has taken all day to reply - I was conducting free services at RAF Northolt to servie leavers.
Regards
Keith
p.s. thanks for visiting my web site.
Fair enough. You've clearly got a passion for all this. That's got to be commended.
