This enquiry is rather specific for our library resources – we have general information on the management and governance of IT in organisations and general information on managing employees, but we don’t have anything specific to IT field staff.
We also have general material on managing remotely which might be helpful to you. If this would be of interest, please come back to us and we’ll be happy to send you details of what is available.
I also did some searches on our e-journals database at www.managers.org.uk/ejournals. I didn’t find a great deal, but I have downloaded a couple of articles which I will forward to you in separate messages.
Looking on the wider web I mostly found websites offering software for field staff management but the following may be helpful:
