Our policy is to put managers first

We set the standards for management and leadership in the UK.

Our policy agenda ensures that managers’ voices are heard by government.

CMI policy submissions are based on research among our 88,000 members and our own day-to-day experience working to meet employers’ needs.

As well as working with the government of the day, we also support the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Management, forging closer links between MPs, peers and business leaders.

Collaboration is the key to success and our Academic Advisory Council supports us in raising the profile and uptake of management research in business schools and higher education institutions.

Acting as 'consulting editors' our Subject Matter Experts provide intellectual input for our management checklists ensuring that they remain up to date and leading edge.

All things considered, it’s hardly surprising that government and others listen to what we have to say.
