The Group's AGM was duly held on 5 July 2006.
Ares of interest for possible future activities were discussed and further suggestions from Group members for speakers and subjects were sought. The election of officers took place, and the positions of the Group were duly filled. Barry Sheerman MP has been re-elected as Chair of the Group, and Dr Vincent Cable and Lord Haskel were re-elected as Vice Chairs. Lord Hodgson and Ian Taylor also become Vice Chairs.
