General Information

Why do I need to login / register my details before I can complete my order?

To create a shopping basket specifically for you, we need to create an account, which captures information such as your delivery address and membership status. This will enable us to show you the correct member/non-member price for each product and send out your order to the correct destination.

Why does the quantity box only have '1' as an option for some products?

Digital products, such as PDF documents or online toolkits, are limited to a quantity of '1' as you will receive unlimited access to such products, so you will not need to buy more than one copy.

Why do some products have two prices?

Some products are available to CMI members at a discounted rate as a membership benefit, so we will display both the non-member and member prices. 

How do I know which price will apply to me?

If you're logged in, the price which will apply to you will be shown.

Are some products for members only?

Both members and non-members can purchase all items from the shop. 

All the items in my cart have disappeared? Why?

If you close down your browser or logout of the website before checking out, your shopping basket will automatically empty for your data-protection security.


Delivery

I have ordered a virtual product. Why do you need my delivery address?

We need to know whether you are inside or outside the EU so we can apply the correct VAT rate to your order.

Is there a delivery charge?

Delivery for physical products is calculated on the weight and will adjust accordingly. There is no delivery charge for digital products.

Does CMI ship internationally?

We do offer international shipping for many items (but not all) – rates are calculated based on weight of the items and location.

How do I collect my digital products?

We will email you the product or link, where appropriate.


Payment

How does the payment process work?

When you go through the checkout, you will be taken to Paypal or Barclays ePDQ, our secure payment service providers, where your credit or debit card payment can be made before returning to our site when the order is completed.

Do I need a Paypal account in order to complete my purchase?

No. Paypal offers the option to pay using an account for those who already have one and also the option to use the 'guest checkout' facility, whereby you can enter a debit or credit card without an account set-up. You will then have the option of creating an account if you wish to do so.


Taxes

Is VAT included in the product price?

All prices shown in the shop include VAT at the standard rate, where applicable. For example, books do not carry VAT.

How do I get a VAT receipt?

When you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation email from CMI. Your VAT receipt will be attached to this email as a PDF file.


Cancellation

How do I cancel my order?

If you want to cancel your order after you’ve paid, please email web.enquiries@managers.org.uk quoting your name, order reference number and reason for requesting a refund.

How do I track my orders?

You are able to view details of all the orders you've placed in the My Account section of the website – you will need to log-in to view this.
