Assignment Briefs for CMI Level 3 Qualifications in First Line Management (QCF)

The Level 3 qualifications in First Line Management are developed for supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area ofactivity, this qualification gives junior managers the communication and motivational skills to help improve operational efficiency.

The Level 3 qualifications in First Line Management are designed for supervisors and first line managers who wish to build on and develop their existing management skills and knowledge.

The Assignment Briefs listed below can be used by all CMI Approved Centres in the following ways:

  • Use the Assignment Brief as is and Assess and Internally Verify the learners assessment within the Centre
  • Use the Assignment Brief but contextualise for the customer needs (N.B. The Learning Outcomes and Assessment Criteria cannot be changed)
  • Issue the Assignment Brief to the learner and CMI will mark the assessment externally
