Prof. Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi FCMI

Dr. Roselina Ahmad Saufi is a Professor in Business and Management at the Malaysian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship and Business, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Malaysia. She was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International) of UMK from 2012 to 2015; and has served as the Group Managing Director for UMS Link Holdings from 2007 to 2012.

Her expertise focuses on strategic issues related to capacity building, human resource development, and rural entrepreneurs’ development. She has rendered her services to government agencies, industries, and NGOs in Malaysia and other countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, China, India, Finland, Japan, and Maldives. Her work mostly focuses on developing policies, indexes, and other strategic issues related to business and management, entrepreneurship, and human resource development. She is an Adjunct Professor and Fellow at several universities in China, Indonesia, India, Switzerland, and Malaysia.

She has received several international awards including the Islamic Leadership Fellow Award from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila in 2009, the Education Leadership Award in Malaysia in 2016, and the Distinguished Women Award for Human Resource Management, India in 2017. She has delivered numerous keynote speeches at several international conferences and published works in the areas of human resource development, management, and entrepreneurship in reputable journals and as of to-date, she has produced more than 50 postgraduate students. She obtained her Ph.D. and Master of Business Administration in 1995 and 1991 respectively from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom.

Dr. Gerald Goh Guan Gan FCMI

Dr. Gerald Goh Guan Gan is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business of Multimedia University, Malaysia. He holds a Master of Arts (Communication) and Doctor of Philosophy, from Universiti Sains Malaysia, and a Master of Business (Information Technology), as well as Bachelor (Information Technology), from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia.

His research interests are in knowledge management, information systems, environmental sustainability, business management, heritage tourism and mass communication. He is currently the Director of Strategy & Quality Assurance at Multimedia University, and is a member of the Centre of e-Services, Entrepreneurship & Marketing at the Faculty of Business.

Dr. Gerald is the Deputy Chair and Secretary of the CMI Malaysia Regional Board.

Major Dr. Prebagaran Jayaraman (R) FCMI

Major Dr. Prebagaran Jayaraman (R) FCMI is a passionate Project Manager and Learning Experience Designer who helps people to be inspired learners for personal and professional growth.

He has 33 years of experience in Project Management including various leadership roles in the military and corporate training institutions. He is a committed, lifelong learner. He obtained his Ph.D. from UTM in 2009 in the field of Engineering Business Management with a research interest in Project Management. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UTM with a research interest in the field of Learning Effectiveness. Major Praba served as Head of Marine Technology Academy, Boustead Naval Shipyard for 10 years. He was a member of the Multi-Billion Ringgit New Generation Patrol Vessel Project from 2000-2014. His hands-on project experience and professional qualifications as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP) are valuable to conduct effective project management and leadership courses.

He is an Accredited Competency Professional (ACP) from the ILM (UK) and a Fellow (FCMI) of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). He is also a Certified Virtual Learn Caster Facilitator and authorized Lead Facilitator for Train the Trainer program of Human Resources Development Corporation, Malaysia. Major Praba has conducted training in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Maldives, Cambodia, Pakistan, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Ghana, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Among his prominent clients are Flex, Hartalega, Bank Muscat (Oman), EIBFS (Dubai), Brunei Investment Agency, ITI (Nigeria), IBF (Pakistan), and Cambodian Business School. His expertise and passion were recognized with the award of Malaysian Armed Forces Best Education Officer (1993) and Excellent Smart Partner of UTM SPACE (2018). Major Praba is also a passionate member of Toastmasters International. He was the champion of the 2012 Toastmasters International Impromptu Speech Contest for District 51 (Peninsular Malaysia).

Major Praba’s comprehensive international experience and professional qualifications are valuable in implementing effective learning solutions for performance improvement. His area of expertise is Project Management, Train the Trainer, and Leadership. He is an expert in creating an impactful and inspiring learning experience. He is very competent to conduct training in Bahasa Melayu and English.

Dr. Guna Seelan Rethinam FCMI

Dr. Guna Rethinam, a distinguished Board Member of the CMI Malaysia Regional Board, is acclaimed for his compelling communication and exceptional leadership spanning diverse business realms. Demonstrating a proven aptitude for multitasking, Dr. Guna adeptly formulates strategic plans, prioritizes tasks, and deftly manages intricate projects within strict timelines. His continual exploration of groundbreaking work methodologies underscores his commitment to ensuring an organization’s enduring success.

Dr Guna brings extensive expertise in global strategic HR and organizational design,  has steered numerous impactful digital transformation initiatives, and successfully orchestrated organizational change programs. Armed with a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development and a Master’s in Organizational Communication, along with certifications in agile project management and digital business transformation. Dr. Guna’s career trajectory reflects an unwavering dedication to driving transformative change and fostering innovative, employee-centric strategies across diverse industries.

Taranjeet Singh CMgr CCMI

It’s an absolute privilege and an honour to serve on the Regional Board of CMI Malaysia, and to currently be the Immediate Past Chair. The need for outstanding managers and leaders is even more critical today than ever before. The uncertainties facing us as businesses and individuals alike, and the ever growing pressure on the shoulders of managers to do the right thing, makes the need for a professional body like CMI Malaysia that much more relevant and crucial.

I see CMI Malaysia as being the “go-to body” for Managers and Leaders, as a reference point and a repository for knowledge. Leveraging off its global network of other Regional Boards whether within APAC or the UK, CMI members are able to learn, unlearn (as the case may be), share and act decisively. But most importantly, CMI members know that they are not alone in this journey, but instead have the collective support of all within the Network and the knowledge that the Regional Board is vested in their professional success as members of CMI.

With over two and a half decades of experience, in a variety of sectors, working and residing in various geographical regions and having the opportunity to see how different societies and cultures operate and work, it is clear to me that success for us as CMI members can only derived when we all have a genuine interest in each other’s progress, professional milestones and achievements. Our dreams rest on the wings of ambitions and are grounded by the pillars of resilience, fortitude and humility… and CMI Malaysia is here to support its members in the achievement of their professional success as managers and leaders alike.

Ts. Dr. Kelly Wee CMgr FCMI

An experienced over 27 years ICT Industry Leader, Dr. Kelly Wee is a recognized Chartered Manager with a Chartered Fellow member from the Chartered Management Institute (UK); a Chartered Marketer with a Fellow member from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK); a Chartered Engineer with Member from Institute of Engineering and Technology (UK) and Chartered Engineer registered with Engineering Council (UK), a registered Professional Technologist with Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) in Information & Communication Technology (IT) and a Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (USA).

He has experience working for Global Multinational Companies (MNC), such as Compaq Computers Corp, Hewlett-Packard, LogicaCMG, O’Connor’s, INFOPRO, and Huawei as Chief Information Officer (Business), Worldwide Director of Sales & Marketing and Director, Sales of Tec D Distribution (company owned by TD SYNNEX, USA). Currently, Dr. Kelly is the Head of Enterprise Sales of AIMS Data Centre for the Malaysia market, and have over 27 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Consulting, Strategic Planning, Management, Project Management, and Operation in large enterprises of  Telco, BFSI, Manufacturing ), Corporate, SMB, Public Sector, Channel/Alliances and Commercial customers. Skilled in Business Alliances, Managed Services, Enterprise ICT – Hardware, Software and Solution Sales, Business Development, and Channel or Partner Management.

Dr. Kelly graduated with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Management and Science University. He obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business from the International University of Malaya-Wales (IUMW) and was honored as IUMW Valedictorian for 2017 of the 1st cohort of PhD graduates in IUMW.

Monique Yong

Monique Yong, the Managing Partner of PeoplePlus Asia Group, embodies a life dedicated to both corporate excellence and community empowerment.
