CMI West Midlands and North West facilitates and supports professional development and networking for CMI members who live and/or work in the West Midlands and North West. The volunteers who form the Regional Board are all members within the region and believe passionately in the vision, mission and values of CMI and the importance of excellent leadership and management for all individuals and organisations.
Our focus is on our regional members, however we work closely with the CMI executive team and with neighbouring Regional Boards to support members in their development of management and leadership competencies aligned to the CMI Professional Standard and in the growth of their professional networks.
We work with members to organise events relevant to them, share best practice and information using a range of media, and build links with other professional bodies, higher and further education institutions, employers and other community partners.

Elizabeth is an Equality Diversity and Inclusion Consultant, (specialising in Race),Is a motivational speaker who highlights the intersectional experience of race & class, women, single parents, poverty, lgbt+ and disability inequality.
She has for over 25 years supported and represented the experience of ethnically diverse, women and disabled members at a national level and has been raising awareness of workplace racism, structural racism and discrimination for a similar time period.
Alongside this she is a qualified advisor on workplace relations with employers and in support of employees and has been a National executive member in a public sector union working with TUC equalities and race relations committees.
Elizabeth has been an active campaigner for those most marginalised, across local, national politics and within communities. Elizabeth Is a qualified practitioner in support of women who have experienced domestic and sexual violence.

Motivated by impact and hope, Will has previously stood for Parliament and been elected to the Executive Committee of a leading political party and think tank. Always open to new ideas and high impact opportunities, Will can also be found travelling the world with his young family.
Donna Goodall is dedicated to inspiring others, while at the same time developing her own skills. Continuing her learning and development by completing a CMDA (Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship) in Leadership and Management.
Donna`s career focus has been on developing and supporting others to do their best to make a difference. Her passion lies with helping support, shape and influence others,
Her Role as Social Value Lead for Housing provider whg encouraged her motivation to engage with stakeholders and partners for the better of the people and community. Her experience leading on multiple projects has enhanced her emotional intelligence as well as adopting a transformational leadership style. She recently discovered her WHY:” To offer support and resources to empower others to succeed and personally grow successfully”. Donna sits on the Social Value Leadership National Group.
Apart from her work on the CMI West Mids. and North West Board Donna is also a member of the Black Country Chamber, an Enterprise Advisor with the LEP, West Midlands Apprentice Ambassador and a STEM Ambassador where she volunteers time to support local schools to help support with career advice, employability skills to help raise aspirations. Donna sits on the West Midlands CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) panel and Walsall Council Crowd funding Panel. Donna also volunteers with WASUP (World against single use plastic) as their Chief Corporate Ambassador where she leads monthly litter picks getting colleagues, partners and supply chain involved that not only impact the environment but also on people’s mental health and wellbeing, having a positive influence building motivation and resilience.
Ben is a Chartered Manager with a successful career spanning various management positions, across both Food Retail and Financial Services.
He currently holds a leadership and management position within a global Investment Bank, where he has led teams in both the Global Markets and Global Commercial Banking divisions.
Ben is committed to developing capability through awareness and improvement of individual’s behavioural competencies. He is also an advocate of the CMI’s Mentoring Programme, through which he was supported in being accredited with Chartered Manager Status .
Ben holds the position of Group Treasurer and a Trustee of a local charity, which provides Advanced Driver training through raising awareness and campaigning for better road safety.
Sikhuphukhile comes from a Tourism and hospitality background. Her strength is primarily team leadership.
She has been involved in a range of networking and hospitality events working with diverse
individuals in multicultural settings.
Sikhuphukhile has been working as a Visiting lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton Business School since 2017. Graduated with a BA Honours (!st class) degree in Tourism Management and was awarded the ATHE Best Tourism student award in 2016. She holds an MBA and recently completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and is currently embarking on a PhD with the University of Wolverhampton.
Prior to studying at university, Sikhuphukhile had more than 10 years experience working in the tourism, events and hospitality sectors after acquiring Institute of Commercial Management diplomas. She is an
entrepreneur who has been managing her business online and retail shops in Africa.
Outside work, she is a member of FIFMI where she sits on the FIFMI Midlands Provincial council and
the UK National Council. She has innovative ideas and enjoy working with young people organising conferences and events with a special interest in team working.
Qualified Healthcare Professional working with Cancer Services in the NHS. Demonstrable experience in the healthcare industry with active involvement in change management and service improvement.
I specialise in workforce development and staff engagement. Plan and deliver regular training and education sessions to clinical and non-clinical staff. Founder and Managing Director of an online startup business. Undertake regular voluntary work with local community centres and organise events/fundraisers.
Jonny works as Creative England’s Production Liaison Manager for the North West and Midlands, in their Filming in England Team who are funded by central government via the BFI to support the regional Film and TV sector across England, outside of London.
He is based in the North West and loves working in Film and TV – an industry which requires flexibility and teamwork at every level. Jonny admires the work the CMI do and those who look to improve themselves professionally through the CMI.
Nick Smith is the Chief Executive of a Cheshire based Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ and award winning engineering apprenticeship training provider. Nick is also a trustee and non-executive director at the Northern Consortium educational charity, a member at the Great Academies Multi Academy Trust in Greater Manchester, and a part-time Doctor of Business Administration student at the University of Chester. Nick’s previous roles have included being the Chief Executive for a large university students’ union in Liverpool and being a commando trained Royal Navy Officer. Most of his spare time is taken up by his two young granddaughters, but when he gets the chance Nick enjoys going to the gym with his son, playing the saxophone and watercolour painting.
Nikki is currently Service Manager of a Missing from Home Service in Pan Cheshire & is due to be accredited with chartered manager status in June. After graduating in law Nikki has built a career working in the charity sector with a proven track record of leadership & management roles in Shropshire, Cheshire & Merseyside for a national charity providing support to young people.
As well as being passionate about improving outcomes for young people Nikki is committed to ensuring high standards of management to support organisational performance & success. Nikki is adept at connecting with people & using emotional intelligence to build relationships through her collaborative leadership style. As the chair of the social media forum within her organisation, Nikki has a keen understanding of the importance of clear communication & creative problem-solving, winning two organisational awards for social media campaigns during the pandemic. As Communications Lead Nikki is keen to develop the West Midlands & North West network to support members to be better managers, exploring progressive & innovative ideas in sharing her passion for personal development.Outside of work Nikki enjoys swimming and her photography has been featured by the BBC.
