CMI joins ranks of the UK's leading not-for-profit organisations to work for in UK-wide Best Companies survey for the second year.

The Chartered Management Institute has been named among the top 100 UK not-for-profit organisations to work for, claiming the 59th spot, making the top 100 for the second year.

The ranking is based on a staff survey rating the organisation in categories including Leadership; My Company; My Manager; and My Team. The results show that 87% of staff agree that CMI is run on strong values and principles and 90% of staff stated that their manager regularly expresses appreciation when they do a good job.

Ann Francke, CEO of CMI, said:

We're delighted to be ranked 59th in the Sunday Times Top 100 NFPs to work for. As the UK's chartered professional body for management and leadership, we're dedicated to helping employers improve their management and leadership. This ranking shows that we put it into practice ourselves.

At CMI, staff are engaged and through a 'rainbow' strategy, and given a real sense of ownership behind the mission of creating better led and managed organisations. Initiatives such as enabling flexible working for all employees and 'bring your dog to work day' create a sustainable work-life balance and make CMI a great place to work.

The Sunday Times Best Companies survey is the UK's benchmark for rating and celebrating the very best employers to work for.
