CMI's CEO Ann Francke named in Female FTSE Board Report's 100 Women to Watch

Report supports CMI’s campaign for more inclusive leadership

The Chartered Management Institute’s (CMI) chief executive officer Ann Francke has been named one of the 100 Women to Watch in Cranfield University’s Female FTSE Board Report 2015.

Commenting on her inclusion in The 100 Women to Watch, Francke said:

"As Cranfield’s report highlights, there is no shortage of incredibly talented, high-achieving women available to take roles on the boards of FTSE companies. I’m flattered to be named alongside such great company."

Ann Francke has served as CMI’s CEO since June 2012, and is the former global managing director of BSI Group. Her previous roles include European VP of Mars Petcare, CMO for Boots Group and Yell Group, and global general manager for P&G.

Since taking up her role at CMI, Francke has led the organisation’s campaign to promote change in business cultures and to create more inclusive leadership. CMI’s annual National Management Salary Survey monitors the gender pay gap for managerial roles.

Now in its sixth year, The 100 Women to Watch supplement was introduced in the 2009 Female FTSE Report. The Female FTSE Board Report monitors the number of women serving on FTSE 100 boards. In 2011 the Davies Review, headed by former minister of state Lord Davies, set FTSE 100 companies the target of 25% board members to be women by 2015. Currently, the figure stands at 23.5%.
