Questions are often asked about whether ISO [e.g. ISO9001] is better than the EFQM Excellence Model, whether the Balanced Scorecard is better than the EFQM Excellence Model etc., and a great number of people believe these tools, models and frameworks are all fighting for time on the management agenda; that they are in some ways conflicting; that you must use one or the other.
Our speaker Diane Dibley MBA MCMI, a Business Improvement Consultant, believes that we have many tools that are actually complementary and are helpful to us. Through some practical examples and discussions, the theme of her talk will be about how these tools and frameworks can be used together as “Building Blocks to Excellence”.
This is a joint event with the Chartered Quality Insurance.
