The event will focus on different perspectives on managing persistent absence, employee performance and personality clashes.

About our speakers

Kerry is an Associate specialising in employment law. She advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment related matters, predominantly for employer clients. As well as presenting seminars on a variety of employment matters, Kerry regularly advises employer clients on complex disciplinary and general matters and on the exit of senior employees. Kerry provides corporate support regarding share sales and business transfers which involve TUPE. She also has experience in advising on employment issues in corporate recovery matters.

Marcus is the Head of HR, and currently Interim HR Director, at thebigword, which is a technology driven language solutions organisation, operating world-wide with offices across the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia.   Following a career spanning travel, retail sales and social care in a not-for-profit organisation, Marcus has spent almost 18 years in HR covering all aspects of the function, including operations, learning and development, recruitment, change management, etc., and enjoys the diversity of thebigword and the opportunities to work alongside a wide variety of nationalities and cultures.

We will start with networking and a buffet at 6.30pm, followed by the talk at 7.00pm and will end at approximately 8.30pm.
