CMI Women London & South East is hosting this high profile event. Attendees will hear from a panel of three influential role models and influencers from different industries and sectors. These unique leaders will explore how they have championed themselves as leaders and how they have succeeded in their respective careers.

Bury that Imposter! - Sally Clark

Sally will be sharing her own experience with imposter syndrome, particularly the higher up she got in leadership roles. She will mention the techniques she used to overcome it e.g. Mastery and Mentoring, and how they helped her build her own confidence.

Typecasting and how to avoid it - Timothy Wade

Tim will share experiences of male behaviours which, consciously or otherwise, continue to construct barriers for female managers. Why do the most liberal minded of managers repeatedly incite and aggravate inequality?

The Glass Wall - Kathryn Jacob, OBE CCMI

In this presentation Kathryn will provide proven strategies and tactics to enable women to obtain the careers they deserve as well as helping senior leadership develop, motivate and retain the wealth of talent that exists within the female workforce.

This panel event is underpinned by CMI’s overarching vision to promote first class management and leadership practice. CMI Women was launched in November 2016 to highlight how diversity is the foundation for good leadership and management.  The vision for CMI Women is to “create the world’s strongest pipeline of women in management”, by focusing on three key objectives:

  • Organisations to create high performing, balanced teams
  • Emerging women leaders to unlock their potential
  • Men to agree to be agents of change

The event is a great possibility to network with professionals from different sectors. We welcome attendance by CMI members and non-members, both females and males.
