As before, our aim is to bring together leadership researchers and practitioners from academic and management contexts. This time we will be focusing on examples of successful collaborations between academia and the public sector for researching and/or developing leadership.
As before, we are striving to increase awareness of the research undertaken in both communities, to look for synergies in research streams and hence find ways of collaborating, potentially pooling resources and building bridges between academia and management practitioners. Event participants will influence the discussion and hence the directions for research in the field of leadership and leadership development.
We hope that participants will contribute to building these bridges and, through their participation, help influence the impact agenda and its direction adding value to the field of leadership and leadership development.
This event is aimed at both academic researchers and managers who are interested in how research interests can be aligned and who may be looking for opportunities to find research partners across the two communities.
- Members of BAM (including doctoral students) interested in the application of leadership and leadership development research
- Managers looking for research sources/partners and ways to benefit from both streams of investigation
- Other members of CMI, CIPD or The Work Foundation who share our aims and interests!
