Management 4.0: Managing through change.
This conference will explore how leaders and managers perceive change, the different approaches organisations are taking to managing this change and the impact those different approaches can have. We'll be discussing the changes that are affecting organisations, what the forces of disruption are for different organisations over the next 5-10 years and how managers and leaders are preparing for these disruptions - if at all - before looking at the development needs and skills that will be required to ensure your own business or industry can be future-proofed.
The conference will be centred around three themes;
- What can we learn from market disruptors - what are successful organisations doing to adapt to change, what are they doing differently and why?
- Understanding and managing the new psychological contract - what are people’s changing expectations of work - what do employees expect from their managers and leaders? What are their concerns around change in the workplace and how can managers best support? How does this impact on flexibility, diversity and inclusion, sustainability or workplace wellbeing?
- Effective governance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution - how do board leaders keep pace with their changing environment to ensure the success of their businesses? And what does this mean for processes and procedures to be most effective? What do we need to do to future proof?
Join us in Leeds on Wednesday 24th June, as we discuss the key areas in which the business world is evolving, and the skills managers and leaders need to develop now to stay relevant as they unfold.
