From time to time we have vacancies on the Eastern Regional Board, so if you’re an existing CMI member who would like to play a more active role in regional activity, please get in touch.
The Eastern Regional Board consists of a highly experienced and enthusiastic group of professionals from a variety of industries and sectors who are all committed to implementing CMI strategy locally by supporting events, providing advice and mentoring activities.
Each board member has the opportunity to champion a role relating to his or her work experience or personal interests, or to assist with other ongoing board activity.
The current board members have a variety of expertise and are from a range of backgrounds including private and public sector, engineering and education, for example. Currently we are seeking professionals with an expertise and interest in social media management.
Board meetings are held approximately four times a year, including a strategy-planning meeting in January every year. In-between meetings board members are expected to complete specific tasks relating to their role and areas of experience and expertise.
We also have vacancies for CMI Ambassadors that have a different role to the Board members. This role is also voluntary and provides an opportunity to work with the CMI board in event management and identifying CPD opportunities and in particular running events (both large and small) promoting the benefits of CMI.
If you are interested in being considered for a Board member position or a role as a CMI Ambassador please send your CV and a covering letter to the Chair of the Eastern Regional Board, Loreen Macklin
