Board Update

10 December 2018

On behalf of the CMI Scotland Board, I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas or a Happy Chanukah and, for those of other faiths and traditions, the best of the holiday season, and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year.

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is almost here already – where did this year go!

Christmas is a time for reflection and a transformation of hope for the future. May we always be ever mindful of the spirit of caring, sharing, love and generosity of the Christmas season, and do our best at all times as we seek to develop as an organisation, improve the prosperity of our businesses and grow as individuals and contributing in whatever capacity for the benefit of the Chartered Management Institute community.

As a board, we can look back with pride and satisfaction at the accomplishments of the past year.  Notable among these was the Annual Conference 2018, conference was the biggest CMI Scotland conference to date and had excellent speakers and received very positive feedback.

I am particularly aware that the success of the CMI Scotland rest upon the valuable support of our members and the hard work of the board members who so generously volunteer and give of their time, so let me take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for your wonderful support and dedication. Regardless of your current level of involvement, I invite you to become more engaged with the CMI Scotland in the next year.

On behalf of the CMI Scotland Board let me end by once again thanking you for your support and endorsement of our efforts, and pledge to work even more strenuously for you in the year ahead. We wish you a safe and very happy Christmas and a New Year filled with peace, joy, productivity and prosperity.
