We had a fantastic response to our research on future events. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the questionnaire. Overwhelmingly, 68.8% of you stated that you prefer weekday daytime events lasting a full or half day, whilst 26.7% also stated they would attend shorter weekday evening events.
In response to location of events, it is clear you would like CMI to hold events in your locations; Leicester, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire. Considering the type of event 18.4% would like online events, 34.7% would like presentational/speaker events and the large majority prefer to attend workshops.
Although the preferred subject matter continues to be on leadership, strategy and professional development, technology had the highest score at 24.3%. This is a developing area for all of us and we are keen to find out what particular aspects of leadership and technology our members are interested in. I can feel another questionnaire coming….
We also had some great comments to help us gain a deeper understanding of the of subject areas such as diversity and inclusion, coaching, culture change, collaborative working and events aimed specifically at frontline works, to mention a few.
Having taken this valuable information on board, our priority now is to put together a suitable programme of events for 2018-2019. Watch out for updates.
