Dear CMI Readers, I take great pleasure in introducing myself to you via this communication.

Three years ago I achieved the Chartered Manager Award (qualified route) and I am a Fellow of CMI and a member of the British Academy of Management (BAM).

Currently, my role on the board is HE champion and I am also a part of the subcommittee of the CMI Women and NE/NEYH joint events.

I am a highly experienced transformational leader in education management with a successful attainment of almost two decades of significant work experience in both the education and business industry.  My career involves leading and strategising quality assurance teams and large scale programmes of delivery.  I lecture Management and Leadership and other Business Management studies in Higher Education.  Inessential to say, that I am an avid reader, and regularly contribute to academic management and business studies book reviews.

Recently, I have been offered the opportunity of joining the local UCU newsletter editorial team and my focus in on the topic of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.  Throughout my career I have been a keen collaborator and contributor to the development of strong working relations with educational, awarding organisations and professional bodies including engaging with local communities, and advocating widening participation and social mobility.

I enjoy traveling and value both the development of a cross cultural and social intelligence and my appreciation for the commonalities within the Latin languages.

I look forward to meeting and welcoming you at our events in the NEYH area.  Relatedly, if there is anything I can help you with in the meant time, please do not hesitate to contact me, or any member of the board.
