Re-certification.

CMC

The Institute of Consulting has developed a recertification process that is mandatory for all CMC members.


As CMC focuses on currency of consulting ability/skills evidence of ongoing competence is sought every three years. CMC holders will need to provide the following during their re-certification:

  • A completed self diagnostics questionnaire.
  • An uploaded client reference.
  • An up to date CPD record.

This evidence will then be reviewed by an experienced CMC assessor, and upon successful completion a new certificate will be issued.

Emeritus

For CMC holders who are retired or not in consultancy any more, the IC has devised an Emeritus CMC status.

To obtain Emeritus CMC please download the Emeritus CMC form, once you have filled in the form and signed at the bottom declaring you no longer practice email back to cmc@iconsulting.org.uk. On receipt your form will be processed and an Emeritus certificate issued. There is a one-off charge of £40 + VAT.

If you resume consultancy work, you can apply to have your CMC status re-instated.

Please note, to retain Emeritus or full CMC award you must hold current membership with the Institute of Consulting.
