Learning journeys are a means of collecting ManagementDirect content into bitesize tailored programmes. They have been created to support CMI qualifications and for various other general research topics.
CPD can take many forms, but the most important feature of any activity you undertake is that there are clear learning outcomes. In many cases these may enable you to have a direct and immediate impact at work.
CMI provides a wide range of opportunities for you to extend your knowledge and improve your skills in management and leadership. Where we have recorded the fact that you appear to have undertaken a CPD activity using our services it is entirely up to you whether or not this should be added to your record.
CMI supports this with an online portal accessed via ManagementDirect.
Yes. The new platform is responsive and will work on tablets and mobile devices.

Generally speaking, ManagementDirect is compatible with the latest versions of each major platform's default browsers. Note that proxy browsers (such as Opera Mini, Opera Mobile's Turbo mode, UC Browser Mini, Amazon Silk) are not supported.
ManagementDirect is built to work best in the latest desktop and mobile browsers, meaning older browsers might display differently styled, though fully functional, renderings of certain components.

CMI have mapped resources to the learning outcomes of management qualifications at levels 3, 5 and 7. There are also learning journeys available for these qualifications. When you log in to the site a “Qualification support” button will appear (providing you are registered on a qualification) which will take you straight to the support materials.
The system is a web based application designed to work on any platform with a web connection, subject to the above conditions.
