What is the Emerging Manager of the Year Award ?

Leadership is built not born and at CMI, we want to highlight the impact of future leaders. The new Emerging Manager of the Year Award has been introduced to recognise exceptional young professionals aged 18-22 who are already making their mark as future leaders. This category celebrates exceptional individuals who are balancing work and study, applying their CMI learning to real-world challenges, and demonstrating initiative, growth, and leadership potential early in their careers.

Award Process

The Awards process goes through multiple phases to determine our shortlist, longlist and winners. Each stage of the process is supported by our experienced judges against a set criteria.

Judging

The CMI Awards receive entries from a diverse range of organisations and individuals across various sectors and fields. To ensure that our judges are able to reflect this diversity, we carefully select individuals who are experts in their respective fields and have a wealth of experience.
