This autumn, we will recognise one of them in our Volunteer of the Year 2024 award. First, let’s take a look at the shortlist… Volunteers play a vital role in furthering CMI’s vision of better-led and better-managed organisations. Serving on regional boards, hubs and committees, volunteers give up their time to help other CMI members achieve their career goals and become more effective managers and leaders. They do this by helping to organise events and by giving guidance to CMI members across all sectors and career stages. Given how central volunteers are to the CMI community, it is only fitting that we recognise them each year with our Volunteer of the Year award. This year’s winner will be revealed as part of the CMI Awards of Excellence announcement later this autumn. So who made the shortlist?
