Location: Home based with occasional travel to CMI offices in Corby/London Reports to: Assessor Compliance Manager Salary: £38,220 plus excellent benefits Closing Date: Friday 12th January 2024 About the role: CMI are looking for end point apprenticeship assessors to join their existing team of internal assessors. We would like you to have the ability to assess Level 3 and level 5 management and leadership standards, with the potential to access higher levels to support the business need in the future. We are the leaders in end point assessment for leadership and management standards and are expanding our team to meet external demand. We have permanent contracts available and will consider part time applicants. As an apprenticeship end point assessor at CMI you will undertake a monthly caseload of leadership and management live assessments. You will be supported by our highly skilled training and development managers and the internal quality managers. We will ensure you have the tools and resources to perform to a high standard inline with the quality processes and standards set out by IFATE and CMI. Your Assessor Compliance Manager will ensure that you are fully supported throughout your CMI journey, and will provide you with a full induction programme, regular 1:1’s, personal development plans, a buddy in the workplace and much more. The role is assessment focussed so your day will consist of completing end point assessments for our partners apprentices. If this sounds like the role please apply. Responsibilities: To prepare for, and undertake, End Point Assessments (EPAs) in line with CMI quality assurance practices and within the agreed timescales. To lead EPA activities with training providers and employers. To complete all EPAs and record and upload all relevant material onto the system(s) to meet SLAs. To undertake checks on Gateway documentation supplied by apprentices to ensure compliance with assessment plan requirements. To deliver personal objectives in line with the wider aims and objectives of the team, department, directorate and CMI To be a credible ambassador for CMI, role modelling CMI values and its professional code of conduct. To ensure that all CMI resources are utilised effectively and responsibly, through a culture of continuous improvement which delivers value for money and quality service standards. To fulfil the key responsibilities of the job role in a professional manner adapting to changing circumstances and prioritising accordingly. Essential Assessor Award and/or substantial experience of assessing in a standards-driven environment. Functional Skills L2 in English and Maths, or equivalent. Credible professional qualifications and experience at L5 or above in Leadership & Management, Business Administration, Project Management or Consulting, or closely aligned subjects. Knowledge of apprenticeships, End Point Assessment methods and processes. Strong attention to detail and robust IT skills. Collaborative and a proven team player. Strong customer and delivery/outcome focus. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. Calm and unflustered under pressure. An agile approach to working. Ability to work to tight deadlines and SLAs. Proven record of and commitment to continuous personal learning and development. Desirable Knowledge of the CMI and its work Chartered Manager status Project management experience Experience of working with bespoke software systems and e-portfolios Experience of working as an Independent End Point Apprenticeship Assessor.
