About the role:

The Membership Journey Manager has overall responsibility for the creation, innovative development and ongoing monitoring of CMI’s key member and learner journeys, with the purpose of increasing engagement with CMI’s resources and within the member/learner community itself.

Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand CMI member and learner segments and how to best communicate key CMI messages. Utilising a variety of channels (e.g. social media, email, SMS, postal, events, third parties etc.) maximise engagement opportunities.
  • Generate regular member insights, driven by engagement data, to identify ways to maintain the concurrency and ultimately improve the member and learner experience via Focus groups, Surveys and Analysis of member engagement data
  • Spearhead innovative new approaches to optimising the CMI member and learner experience
  • Conduct regular ‘safe to fail’ experiments to identify what works and learn from what does not
  • Benchmark against other professional bodies and learn from best practice
  • Identify and leverage influencers that will increase recruitment, engagement, conversion and retention (e.g. tutors, employers, education providers, student societies, third parties etc.)
