HTQ in Coaching for Professionals (Level 5) 610/1277/4 Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) are Level 4 or 5 qualifications that have been quality marked to indicate their alignment to employer-led occupational standards. HTQs align to approved occupational standards and allow learners to enter their chosen profession or progress onto higher education. CMI's Level 5 Diploma in Coaching for Professionals has been approved by the Government for delivery as a Higher Technical Qualification. It has been designed to support individuals in the development of professional coaching skills, helping them understand and be able to apply core skills required for effective coaching practice. For individuals wishing to develop their professional coaching abilities, and who will have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to coach. They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development. The CMI HTQ in Coaching for Professionals is funded through Advanced Learner Loans (ALLs), and will be transitioned to the Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) from January 2027.
