She works in a role where everyday details really count. Lucy manages a team of about 1,200 people and is responsible for the safe travel of millions of passengers every week. But she also understands that modern management is about spreading your influence beyond the immediate responsibilities. As well as being a manager; Lucy is a busy working mother with a young family and has recently completed her Executive MBA at Warwick Business School. She is also co-chair of the London committee of Women in Rail, a national volunteer-run organisation that promotes greater diversity in the rail industry.
