The Level 2 qualifications in Team Leading offer a highly flexible approach to learning and are designed for practising or aspiring team leaders who wish to develop their team leading skills and knowledge. There is a broad range of units available allowing employers and individuals to tailor the size and elements of the qualifications to suit their specific needs.
These qualifications are aimed at practising or aspiring managers will supervise or manage a team to achieve clearly defined outcomes. They will set and monitor goals and objectives by providing instruction, direction and guidance. Day to day operational and project activities are a key part of their role.
The Level 3 qualifications in First Line Management are developed for junior managers, supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area of activity and who wish to build on and develop their existing management skills and knowledge. This qualification gives junior managers the communication and motivational skills to help improve operational efficiency.
The Level 4 qualifications in Management and Leadership, designed for junior managers, are designed to develop personal management capabilities, and grow professional management skills including decision-making, managing team dynamics and delegation capability.
The Level 5 qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed for practising middle managers and those aspiring to senior management who want to develop their core management skills such as managing resources, recruitment and information management. These qualifications focus on the personal development of the individual learner’s management capabilities and competencies.
The Level 6 qualifications in Management and Leadership are designed for middle managers aspiring to be senior managers to improve personal management capabilities through effective decision-making and strategic leadership.
Developed for directors and senior managers who have the responsibility to translate organisational strategy into effective performance, the Level 7 qualifications in Strategic Management and Leadership require the manager to focus on the implementation of their organisational strategy.
Designed for directors and senior managers who have the responsibility for developing and implementing effective ethical and collective strategies across their organisation and that have the authority across organisations and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective performance. The qualifications require directors and senior managers to build on their skills in strategic direction and leadership and to focus on the requirements of inter-organisational strategy.
The Level 3 qualifications in Coaching and Mentoring are designed for supervisors and first line managers, to support the development of coaching and mentoring skills and techniques of individuals, teams and achieve objectives.
