Employ 250+ Staff?

Manager's guide to the gender pay gap reporting regulations

Under the Government’s reporting regulations that came into effect in April 2017, employers with 250+ staff now have to publically report the size of their gender pay gap.

This guide provides managers with the key fact about what is now required of businesses that fall within its scope, rather than being a detailed implementation guide.

CMI is a strong supporter of the regulation, recognising how it will benefit business through broadening the talent pipeline for leadership and management roles, as well as delivering sustainable business performance.

CMI has been a member of the Business Reference Group formed by the Government Equalities Office (GEO) to consult on the development of the regulations. The content has been updated in April 2017 to reflect the final version of the regulations as published by the Government.
