About the role:

The main responsibilities of this role will be to support and quality assure a network of existing and new CMI registered and approved centres in their compliant delivery of qualifications and accredited programmes; advise CMI Relationship Managers on proposed offers; oversee initial mapping for the dual accreditation offer and supporting qualification direct delivery as well as quality assure CMI centres by conducting centre visits, overseeing moderation and working with CMI Engagement Managers to support centres in resolving quality issues. The role will also be responsible for all CMgr. assessment in the region following approval as a CMgr. Assessor.

Responsibilities:

  • Support CMI centres to comply with CMI’s Quality Assurance requirements
  • Ensure that the delivery and assessment of CMI centres is meeting regulators’ requirements
  • Ensure standardisation of the delivery and assessment of CMI qualifications
  • Assist and approve all new CMI centres, in accordance with CMI’s strategy and requirements
  • Engage with mapping, marking and moderation teams
  • Liaise with the Chartered Manager Assessment team in the UK
  • Support the Senior Quality Manager to develop and implement an effective compliance and quality assurance strategy for international operations in APAC. MENA and Australasia, ultimately taking on the quality management responsibility for this in a full time post.

  • Master’s Degree or CMI Level 7 or comparable qualification in Management & Leadership
  • External Verifier/Quality Assurance qualification or equivalent
  • CMgr. status
  • Bi-lingual – English and Malay/Mandarin/Tamil
  • Experience in quality monitoring and control
  • Experience of qualifications audit and/or a compliance role
  • Clear communicator – written and spoken English
  • In-depth understanding of the role of an Awarding Body
  • IT skills – proficient in all Microsoft applications/ Google environments
  • Has access to good Internet infrastructure and data package to allow remote working
  • Experience of working within an education, training, development and/or assessment environment, preferably HE/FE
  • Experience of creating and maintaining high quality customer relationships – internal and external
  • Calm and unflustered
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and high standards
  • Ability to attend meetings in country, virtually and overseas where required to do so
  • Able to work away from home or overnight and attend evening events as required by the role from time to time
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about education and maintaining the standard of qualifications delivered globally
