Double triumph for CMI at Federation of Awarding Bodies AwardsTuesday 16 November 2021
12th November 2021: The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) has won the prestigious Innovation of The Year Award at this year’s Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Awards. CMI won the accolade for its Interview360 and CV360 solutions.
The awards were announced as part of FAB’s annual conference on the 11th of November.
CMI’s nominee for Learner of the Year was also successful, with medical consultant Deepak Ravindran picking up the award. In further recognition of his work, Deepak was also named CMI Apprentice of the Year Award at the Institute’s Partner Conference earlier in the day.
Commenting on the awards, Steve Heappey, CMI’s Director of Service Delivery and Partner Engagement said: “We were shortlisted for five awards in total and I am delighted to see CMI win the Innovation Award and be recognised for our Interview 360 and CV360 solutions. Both are incredibly popular with our learners, offering a great pre-opportunity rehearsal opportunity and helping answer the most common questions that come up in interviews”.
“To also see Deepak take the Learner of the Year award was the icing on the cake. I would like to offer him my fullest congratulations, both personally and on behalf of all my colleagues at CMI”.
The awards were judged by former skills minister Anne Milton, Black FE Leadership Group executive member and former Highbury College principal Stella Mbubaegbu, and National Union of Students president Larissa Kennedy
