Brighton Business School Stars Grab Management Gong.
High Achievers at Brighton Business School have been recognised for their efforts - On 31 of July 2015 six top students at Brighton Business School (BBS) were handed gongs by Ian Myson, Director of HE Partnerships and Product Management at Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Neil Parsons, Radwa Zaky, Laura Ruaux, Alan Knipmeyer, Bethan Whittingham and Carlota Romero Aznar scooped the prizes at the south coast institution in recognition of the hard work and achievements for outstanding students.
All undergraduates received the dual award of the BA (Hons) and the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership – which is part of BBS’s partnership initiatives with CMI. The dual qualification aligns university courses with CMI qualifications, allowing graduates to receive both accreditations without duplication of effort.
It’s great to be able to celebrate and recognise student achievement. CMI is delighted to be partnering with Brighton to embed dual qualifications and membership benefits in the Business School’s courses. We know from our research that employers want graduates to have professional qualifications in addition to their academic qualifications, so the students start their working lives with a clear employability advantage.
The University of Brighton Business School has enjoyed a successful and continuous relationship with CMI for many years, and in the last three years has developed that relationship more strategically to embrace our formal HE partner status,” said Peter Stock, Assistant Head at Brighton Business School. “Our overarching goal as a university business school is to enhance the employability and aspirations of our students by partnering with CMI as the leading professional chartered body in the generic management field.
