International Regional Development Manager

Salary: AED13,000 (monthly)

Become a vital part of our mission to strengthen the management and leadership community in the UAE as a Regional Development Manager. You'll collaborate with volunteer regional boards, providing crucial support and driving initiatives that align with CMI's vision.

This full-time role offers flexibility, including occasional evening and weekend work for virtual and in-person events, and involves travel across the MENA and occasionally APAC regions. As the region grows, your role will expand, focusing on Regional Board support, Partner Engagement, and contributing to CMI’s international footprint.

Job Role

  • Support the establishment and operation of the Middle East Regional Board, including submitting UAE registration/licensing applications.
  • Manage executive functions of the Board, ensuring smooth operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement CMI and Regional Board-approved policies, strategic plans, and programs.
  • Liaise with government authorities, providing timely documentation and reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with all volunteer-led regional boards, including the Middle East and wider international network.
  • Support induction and onboarding of new regional board volunteers.
  • Lead efforts to establish trade association partnerships for brand awareness.
  • Support regional membership growth through recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with the central events team to plan and deliver high-quality regional events, workshops, and conferences.
  • Act as a regional ambassador for CMI, promoting professional management and leadership.

  • Demonstrable experience in the planning, coordination and delivery of both in-person and digital events;

  • Initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work independently;
  • Willingness to travel within the MENA region as needed (and occasionally APAC);

This role is based in the UAE. We are currently in the process of finalising our company registration and visa sponsorship of our legal entity in the UAE, including obtaining employment visa sponsorship approvals.
