We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced product marketing professional to develop engaging resources and tools and to implement end-to-end campaigns across multiple channels to promote and drive sales for a range of products across B2B and B2C markets.

Ideally, you will have substantial, proven experience within a product marketing position. In this role, you will provide support to the Marketing Manager through the implementation of campaigns and the creation of supporting resources to maximise sales.

Using a combination of creative and analytical skills, you will need to be comfortable developing content across multiple marketing channels in addition to analysing the effectiveness of campaigns using tools such as Google Analytics to drive continuous improvement.

We are looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills, as you will work with numerous teams and departments at all levels across the business to deliver projects.

Business Development Manager - Higher Education

Base - Home based to cover South East England
Salary - Competitive

CMI has a fantastic opportunity for you as a business development manager in CMI’s Higher Education team, in a growing organisation that is truly making a difference to people’s futures. We’re looking for an established seller who has a track record in partnering with Universities or FE colleges selling knowledge-based, membership or subscription products. You will understand the higher and further education markets, and you may also have experience in apprenticeships.

You will report into the Head of Higher Education Partnerships, and cover the South East of England Universities within a team of nine. You will work closely with the Higher Education sales team, and CMI’s Partner Engagement team, sharing market intelligence, and collaborating on partnerships with existing and new university partners who may want both CMI’s accreditation and apprenticeship services. You will be accountable against a sales target and use Salesforce fully and effectively. You will be able to identify new market opportunities and act as a representative of CMI at industry events, conferences, and partner-run events. You will ensure that all CMI resources are managed effectively and responsibly, through a culture of continuous improvement which delivers value for money and quality service standards.

We’re looking for an established membership professional who has a track record in delivering successful outcomes against a strategic plan resulting in engaged and growing membership communities. You will understand membership dynamics and ensure members experience a personalised approach that guarantees value to them.

You will be accountable to the Director of Membership for CMI’s paying membership offer including activity around recruitment, retention, customer service and income. You will work closely with your colleagues to ensure that the membership offer and experience is optimised and that services are delivered with excellence. Building a connection with members through a combination of our Thought Leadership programmes and embedding CMI as their key source of continuous professional development will be key to your success. Through your work you’ll ensure that more people than ever before work towards becoming Chartered Managers and that our members are enabled to play a key part in helping one another to develop and further our mission.

Social Media Executive

Base - Kingsway, London

We’re looking for a creative and ambitious social media executive to join our team. Social media is a key communications channel at CMI, closely integrated with our thought leadership, PR, marketing and membership teams. The Social Media Executive has the opportunity to work on exciting thought leadership campaigns, membership promotions and events.

Ideally, you will have at least 2 years experience in a social media role and already have a good grasp of managing professional social media channels. You will hold a minimum of a Bachelor degree in marketing, communications, PR or a relevant field. The Social Media Executive supports the Social Media Manager to plan and create content across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Soundcloud. You will also be responsible for managing social media advertising campaigns from writing ad copy to setting up and optimising campaigns.

This role requires a combination of creative and analytical skills. You will create your own visual content as well as write design briefs for larger projects. You need to be able to analyse the success of social media content and campaigns. Social listening and engagement is a key part of this role and you will be responsible for responding to queries received on our social media channels.

We’re looking for someone who is:

Research Analyst

Base - Kingsway, London

The Role

CMI has a fantastic opportunity for you as a Research Analyst in CMI’s Research and Insight team, in a growing organisation that is truly making a difference to people’s futures. Our new Research Analyst will be instrumental in helping to deliver an insightful research programme for CMI.

Reporting to our Head of Research and Insight, you will work in collaboration with others to develop a robust evidence base around management and leadership, positioning CMI at the forefront of management thought leadership and having the best understanding of the needs of managers.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Supporting the delivery of a challenging and engaging research and insight programme for CMI, supporting our brand, reputation, thought leadership and demonstrating value work streams.

To design, undertake and commission surveys of CMI members and other key stakeholders, working with research agencies as appropriate.

To undertake original statistical analysis of CMI survey data using Excel and/or Gsheets, mapping across to other survey data as relevant.

To deliver research, analysis and recommendations that influence and support the agenda of CMI, our membership and wider stakeholders.

To work closely with colleagues within our policy department to define research aligned to our policy agenda and recommend the most appropriate methodology.

About You;

You will have experience of undertaking research either in an agency or client side, ideally in the field of education or consumer research. You will also have experience of using quantitative and qualitative approaches to undertake insight projects. With a knowhow of survey research and data analysis using Excel or Gsheets, you will be highly numerate with excellent IT skills.

You will also possess the following;
