Student Experience Coordinator

The Membership Directorate, where this role is based, has ambitious plans to significantly grow membership and ensure a market-leading student and member experience. We have a growing community of more than 80,000 students studying from levels 3-7, in a wide range of educational settings - including universities, FE, private training providers and employers - and covering all ages, from 18-60+.

We are currently seeking a Student Experience coordinator to support the delivery of our student engagement strategy. This person will play a key role in advocating for, and helping to deliver, improvements in the student experience as evidenced by increased engagement with CMI resources and support, and improving satisfaction rates. This role will play an integral part in helping to deliver on one of our strategic organisational KPIs to grow our membership community by converting completing students into full membership.

What you will be getting involved in;

  • Supporting the team to deliver an excellent student experience as evidenced by increased engagement with CMI resources and improving satisfaction.
  • Working closely with the partner engagement team on developing and delivering engagement plans that support student engagement using virtual and digital approaches.
  • Evaluating our activities to ensure we’re delivering maximum value to our students. This role will be heavily involved with gaining and acting upon student feedback.
  • Supporting the administration and project management of the Student Ambassador Programme.
  • Supporting the delivery of engaging student events.
  • Supporting the delivery of our student communications strategy.
  • Adding value to CMI’s relationships by using innovative approaches to product/service and positioning.

CMI is undergoing an exciting technology evolution and are seeking a Tech Analyst & Product Owner to lead delivery workstreams as we transform our organisation.

As an Integration Engineer you will work alongside tech and business colleagues playing a crucial role in the delivery of tech solutions - driving CMIs towards it’s strategic objectives.

Role Purpose;

  • To deliver technical solutions to business problems harnessing CMI’s core set of technologies (Google Cloud, Dell Boomi, OAuth, Wordpress, AODocs, Salesforce, AWS) and to further develop & expand that core set when opportunity arises.
  • To deliver personal objectives in line with wider aims / objectives of the team, department, directorate and CMI.
  • To be a credible ambassador for CMI, role modelling CMI values and its professional code of conduct.

Key responsibilities

  • Scoping & building integrated solutions as part of a focused delivery team.
  • Interacting with business stakeholders, colleagues and vendors across various projects & work streams taking an agile approach.
  • Keeping up with trends around current & new technologies and proposing new approaches where opportunities lie.

About You

CMI has an exciting opportunity for a creative and ambitious digital content writer to join a growing organisation that is truly making a difference to people’s futures. We’re looking for a storyteller who can craft compelling content to promote our thought leadership, products and services, while raising the profile of the impact management and leadership is having on the world as we know it.

You will play a key role within the marketing team, writing a broad range of dynamic and engaging content, and helping to maintain standards of writing across the brand by proofing, editing and publishing content to the web. You should be results-driven, curious and always looking for ways to improve.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will recommend, plan and write content with an agile and practical approach to meet both short and long term needs. You will be responsible for training stakeholders on tone of voice, reviewing current content, and optimising existing content by implementing best practice SEO.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly creative with both content, ideas and solutions to problems.
  • A passionate content writer, with excellent copywriting skills and an understanding of SEO.
  • Capable of using analytics to see the bigger picture when recommending content opportunities.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a team and collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation.

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience working in similar content, copywriting or marketing role/s.
  • Experience in writing for multiple audiences across a range of platforms.
  • Ideally you will have experience using content management systems (CMS).
  • You will preferably have experience in writing for SEO and the ability to track and understand web analytics to derive insights and recommendations to optimise content.
  • A degree, or equivalent experience, in communications, PR, journalism or a related field.

Awarding Body Customer Support Administrator

Base - Corby
Commencing Salary £15,470 per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, forward thinking administrator to join our Awarding Body on a permanent basis. If successful you work alongside our HE Assessment Administrator and report into our Awarding Body Support Manager.

What will you be doing and getting involved in?

Administering our data processes as required including:

  • Creating and maintaining statistical data and reports on registrations, withdrawals, lapses, completions, moderation, external assignment, Personal Learner Record, sanctions, action plans and quality by Centres
  • Providing data on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to the Awarding Body & Compliance Team and Quality Team
  • Producing internal and external data reports, as required
  • Liaising with our centers and offering information in relation to their learner’s progress

Providing administration and customer support to the following:

  • To the Awarding Body and Compliance Team in preparation for centre visits, requests, quality meetings and events
  • To the Awarding Body and Compliance Team as and when required
  • To CMI’s Centres who are delivering our qualifications
  • Work with other CMI departments to offer support and guidance, create information to enable customers to ‘self serve’ where possible
