CMI Recognition

Endorse your in-house training against the CMI Professional Standard

Having your in-house training mapped and aligned against CMI’s Professional Standard in Management and Leadership offers your managers more than just an opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills.

Recognised programmes are a route to professionalising your employees’ Management and Leadership skills, they provide endorsement for your in-house programmes, benchmarked against a globally recognised Professional Standard. Proven to boost employability and develop the key skills that employers look for, CMI Recognition offers a cost-effective quality check as an alternative to Employer Accreditation.

Offer your managers more choice

CMI’s endorsement for your in-house programmes allows you to be confident in your investment to your managers' development and future by offering a training solution backed by a leading professional body. This leads to improved productivity, engagement and will improve your ability to recruit and retain talent. We also work with international partners to endorse their programmes.

CMI represents the benchmark for Management and Leadership skills. Backed by our Royal Charter we are the only professional body able to offer Chartered status for your managers and leaders. Included with Recognised programmes is 12 months membership with CMI, offering digital resources, networking, mentoring and skills support.

Hear what others have to say

We chose to have our training recognised by CMI because we felt that the value for money and being associated with a Chartered Institute was a defining factor. The Recognised programme approval process has been very thorough and given us the confidence that our ‘mapped programmes’ are of the highest quality.

Peter Doyle, Faculty Director, GTC Group

This is a fantastic opportunity to offer short, bite-size learning programmes that are endorsed and supported by a globally recognised professional body. Giving learners the confidence that our short programmes are designed and delivered to the same high standard as our more intensive, accredited programmes. Importantly, learners can be assured that these programmes support them with their CPD and demonstrate the core skills and competencies

Common Questions

As long as we get all the correct information from you this process can be as short as 4 weeks from start to finish.

Your managers will benefit from CMI membership for 12 months and a Certificate of Recognition on completion of the programme, which demonstrates their learning and can be used as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD.)

Recognised programmes do not result in a qualification and as such there is no assessment required to be successful in achieving a Certificate of Recognition.
