Affiliate membership update.

As part of its ongoing commitment to employability, CMI has agreed to a 12 month membership extension for students graduating from their accredited courses in 2017. The only chartered professional body for management and leadership is providing this opportunity at no additional cost. This is in recognition of the valued CMI HE partner network and the potential impact that professional membership can have on student employability.

The extension provides continued use of a range of valuable resources at an important time for our future professional managers and leaders. Benefits for all students graduating in 2017 include:

ManagementDirect: Our dedicated online resource portal provides access to a plethora of content to support their studies and beyond graduation.
Career Development Centre: Our comprehensive online portal packed with interview tips, CV advice, and other career-related topics.
Mentoring: Student can benefit from our online mentoring service that will boost their knowledge of employer expectations and help begin their career with confidence.
Networking opportunities: Students can start making professional introductions before they graduate by joining exclusive networking events in your local area.
Official Recognition: Students will be able to use post nominals on their social media profiles and CVs - an additional benefit that officially recognises their skills and experience, helping them stand out to employers.

Although in very early stages of development, CMI are also in the process of creating supported pathways from graduation through to Chartered Manager status for its early career members and would like do this in conjunction with their partners.
