Women in Leadership: Scaling up business in Wales

Thursday 24 March 2022

Recognising the obstacles that can stunt your businesses growth is a difficult challenge. However, it is the way in which we deal with these challenges that allow businesses to flourish. Scaling up is a strenuous task, but once you grow away from the start-up phase, you can then establish structures for sustainable growth.

This event will focus on three key themes

  • The challenges facing businesses in Wales when it comes to scaling up.
  • Experiences of being a female in a leadership role.
  • The importance of adopting a culture focused around equality, diversity and inclusion.

In this session...

We are joined by Lisa Stopher, Managing Director, West Wales Holiday Cottages, Beverley Downes, Marketing and Communications Director at The Development Bank of Wales, Sarah Day, Chief Executive of Practice Solutions and Catrin Jones, Diversity & Inclusion Lead, Wales/Cymru Board, as they come together to talk about their experiences of being women within leadership roles, and how this has impacted their careers.
