An update of all things IC
The world is changing at such a rapid pace at the moment. When I originally wrote this introduction ten days ago who would have thought how much our world would have changed in such little time.
We are working with our members to understand their challenges and champion the skills and capabilities they'll need to major on in a time of almost unprecedented uncertainty.
As part of this you'll see communications regularly coming from us and the CMI we all need to adapt to address some of the challenges posed by COVID-19. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this and if you're able to help guide our members by sharing them please do get in touch via membership@iconsulting.org.uk and we’ll send you more information.
We are incredibly happy to report uptake of the Chartered Management Consultant award has been strong, with 1.2k participants engaged during the pilot phase. Please read on to find out how you can take part if you’ve not already registered to do so.
Our representatives on the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) have also been incredibly busy. In this issue Chairman Dwight Mihalicz shares an update, focusing on consulting growth and disruption.
In the next newsletter we'd like to shine a light on consulting best practice. Please send brief case studies you'd like to share with the community to membership@iconsulting.org.uk by 27th March.

In January, we began requesting expressions of interest from all members interested in becoming a Chartered Management Consultant (achieving the ChMC award). Already 350 of you have done so and the first assessments will commence in May. Thank you if you’ve already responded but if you’ve not yet done so please take a look at the full details on the web page linked below and register.
If you’ve registered we’ll be in touch in the coming weeks with more detail on the next step
IC is part of the global management consultancy community and represents the UK as part of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). Follow the link below to watch the Chairman Dwight Mihalicz’s thoughts on the coming year.
We have recently taken the National Register of Consultants down from the IC website. This is due to a number of technical challenges and low uptake. We will consider how to replace this in the coming months.
This year the ICMCI Eurohub event takes place on the 4th and 5th of June. Full information is yet to be released but if you wish to go you can find out more by following the link below.
