Board Members

Welcome to the Chartered Management Institute - Malaysia

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is the only chartered professional body for Management and Leadership and remains the only organisation able to award the Chartered Manager (CMgr) status - the ultimate management accolade. With a rapidly growing membership in Malaysia and the wider Asia-Pacific region, and well over 250,000 members globally, CMI has been promoting the highest standards in Management and Leadership excellence for over 75 years.

CMI Malaysia is the go-to professional body for professional development and networking for regional and global members alike. The uncertainties within businesses today and the constantly changing environment that we are working and operating in has meant that the skills, capabilities and adaptability of managers and leaders need to be fortified and concurrently pushed that one notch further. The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically changed the world as we know and see it. And managers now need a whole new set of skills and understanding to effectively manage those whom they are working with.

CMI Malaysia supports its members with thought leadership, professional development as well as connectivity to other professional associations, institutions of higher education, vocational institutes, Government institutions, trade associations and other bodies and partners within Malaysia and beyond.

The Regional Board looks forward to warmly welcoming you, and working with you as we embark on a variety of initiatives which in turn will have positive impacts on professional development and the inculcation of the highest standards of excellence and accountability, for the betterment of the community both regionally and globally. It is through being vested in each other’s success, that we will collectively derive success as a whole.
