Well hopefully by now you will have seen the news that we have been waiting for, for quite some time...
Privy Council have approved us to award the Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) Award.
Work now begins on developing the award to be available from September 2018.
We are also delighted to announce that our member organisation, Challenges Worldwide, scooped the Silver Medal at this year’s Constantinus International Awards, which took place in Kazakhstan on 5 September – we are once again delighted with this news.

Royal Charter approved for Consulting
We're thrilled to announce in September, that we were granted permisson to develop the highly-anticipated Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) award!
Achievement of the new Chartered award represents a significant milestone in the development of the consulting profession, enhancing the status and recognition of consulting for individuals, organisations and clients, whilst promoting the wider positive impact that consultancy has across society and the economy.
Challenges Worldwide scoop silver medal in Astana
Scottish charity forms partnership with groundbreaking Ghanaian business that makes bikes from bamboo.
A Scottish charity has said it is developing further trade links with a Ghanaian social enterprise that won fame for its bikes made out of bamboo.
Challenges Worldwide began working with bamboo bike-maker Booomers International earlier this year after it sent a cadre of British and Ghanian volunteers to help the fledging social enterprise grow.
The volunteer team worked with Boomers boss Danso Kwabena to identify new markets, including the UK, where 1.9 million people cycle every day. Following the 12 week programme Challenges have continued working with Mr Danso to scale up his business and further the social aims of Booomers, which includes partnering with UNICEF to provide bikes to schoolgirls in rural Ghana.
Danso Kwabena, CEO of Booomers International Limited said:
I felt the impact of the Challenges Worldwide programme, it changed the face of my business! Now I have a better strategy for new markets.
The team put together by Challenges were so successful that the project won silver medal at the recent global Constantinus International awards for management consulting, which were held in Kazakstan. Mr Kwabena’s bamboo bikes have appeared on Red Bull Amaphiko, the platform for social entrepreneurs.and across social media, with Foreign Secretary Boris Johnston also praising the self-sustainable social enterprise.
Neil Fleming, Director of Business Development for Challenges, was in Kazakhstan to pick up the award.
He said: We are also astounded by the achievements of the young people we have trained through our programme and their contribution to this project has been invaluable. We are proud to receive this award for our work supporting Booomers to accelerate their growth and bring their environmentally friendly bicycle frames to the UK market.
The award comes as Challenges celebrate a milestone of delivering Chartered Management Institute (CMI) accredited training in Professional Consulting in 10 countries. This milestone has made Challenges the largest exporter CMI training and services from the United Kingdom and puts them at the forefront of supporting professional development to the future consultants and business professionals in international markets.
The success has allowed Challenges to form a strategic partnership with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and begin delivering training in Management and Leadership to managers from both the UK and overseas.
