New Regional Board members for CMI Malayisa

Welcome to Kishenjeet Dhillon CMgr MCMI and Major Dr. Prebagaran Jayaraman (R) FCMI

CMI Malaysia has two new co-opted Regional Board Members - Kishenjeet Dhillon CMgr MCMI and Major Dr. Prebagaran Jayaraman (R) FCMI.

Congratulations and welcome to both, and we look forward to working with you over the coming year.

Kishenjeet has already been a great supporter of CMI Malaysia and has helped to organise some of this year’s CMI Malaysia events, contributed an article to the CMI Knowledge & Insights Hub and was a panel speaker on the CMI Asia Pacific Deep Dive into Finance digital event and the CMI Malaysia Inclusiveness & Resilience at Work digital event.

Major Dr. Praba brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is due to be a panel speaker at the next CMI Malaysia face to face event - Managing in a Disruptive Environment: A Project Management Perspective.

Kishenjeet Dhillon CMgr MCMI

Kishenjeet is a Transfer Pricing Associate Director at Crowe Malaysia and has close to a decade of professional experience in the field of tax and transfer pricing. His main area of focus includes advising on transfer pricing documentation compliance, regional business structures from a transfer pricing perspective and providing support to clients in dispute resolution with tax authorities in Malaysia. From a regional perspective, Kishenjeet also serves as the firm’s Transfer Pricing Liaison to Crowe Asia Pacific, working with the regional team to develop and grow the firm’s regional transfer pricing presence in the Asia Pacific region.

In the past, Kishenjeet has also featured as a speaker at tax related speaking engagements such as the Crowe Global Transfer Pricing Conference, regional Crowe network webinars and talks at leading universities in Malaysia. He has also contributed to numerous tax and transfer pricing related articles, appearing in notable publications such as the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia’s Tax Guardian and The Edge Malaysia. Previously, he also served as a member of the Board of Studies at a local higher education institution and acted as an independent advisor to an affiliate of a multinational corporation based in the Asia Pacific region.

Kishenjeet is a Certified Practising Accountant (Australia), Chartered Accountant (Malaysia) and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant as well as a Member of the Chartered Management Institute. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and is currently pursuing his doctoral studies in leadership and management with the IIC University of Technology through GradXs India.

Major Dr. Prebagaran Jayaraman (R) FCMI

Major Dr. Prebagaran is a passionate Project Manager and Learning Experience Designer who helps people to be inspired learners for personal and professional growth.

He has 33 years of experience in Project Management including various leadership roles in the military and corporate training institutions. He is a committed, lifelong learner. He obtained his Ph.D. from UTM in 2009 in the field of Engineering Business Management with a research interest in Project Management. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at UTM with a research interest in the field of Learning Effectiveness. Major Praba served as Head of Marine Technology Academy, Boustead Naval Shipyard for 10 years. He was a member of the Multi-Billion Ringgit New Generation Patrol Vessel Project from 2000-2014. His hands-on project experience and professional qualifications as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Risk Management Professional (RMP) are valuable to conduct effective project management and leadership courses.

He is an Accredited Competency Professional (ACP) from the ILM (UK) and a Fellow (FCMI) of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). He is also a Certified Virtual Learn Caster Facilitator and authorized Lead Facilitator for Train the Trainer program of Human Resources Development Corporation, Malaysia. Major Praba has conducted training in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei, Thailand, Maldives, Cambodia, Pakistan, Oman, Bahrain, UAE, Ghana, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Among his prominent clients are Flex, Hartalega, Bank Muscat (Oman), EIBFS (Dubai), Brunei Investment Agency, ITI (Nigeria), IBF (Pakistan), and Cambodian Business School. His expertise and passion were recognized with the award of Malaysian Armed Forces Best Education Officer (1993) and Excellent Smart Partner of UTM SPACE (2018). Major Praba is also a passionate member of Toastmasters International. He was the champion of the 2012 Toastmasters International Impromptu Speech Contest for District 51 (Peninsular Malaysia).

Major Praba’s comprehensive international experience and professional qualifications are valuable in implementing effective learning solutions for performance improvement. His area of expertise is Project Management, Train the Trainer, and Leadership. He is an expert in creating an impactful and inspiring learning experience. He is very competent to conduct training in Bahasa Melayu and English.
