It’s good to be part of a growing organisation, and CMI is certainly that – fast growth that’s continuing apace. To help maintain this success, a new Director will shortly be appointed – a permanent full-time role, dedicated to our Chartered Management Consultant project. As the ChMC gets under full steam, we’re making other innovations too: for example, our new online journal about management consultancy.

Following the approval to develop Chartered Management Consultant (ChMC) work is underway to maintain the momentum with two key appointments set to be made in the coming weeks. A new Trustee will be appointed to the CMI Board who will Chair the Oversight Board for the development of ChMC and a new Executive Director will be appointed to lead on the design, launch and delivery of ChMC. Alongside these crucial appointments we continue to work to strengthen a number of key partnerships that will lay the foundations from which a community of Chartered Management Consultants can start to grow in the near future.
Constantinus International Award 2018
Through our affiliation to the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) we are able to nominate an outstanding UK consultancy project for consideration for the Constantinus International Award 2018. Last year the UK was represented by our partner Challenges Worldwide whose exceptional work was recognised with the silver medal. We’re hoping to go one better this year and so if you have a project that you’d like to see nominated please REGISTER YOUR INTEREST today. Deadline for all nominations is 1st June 2018.
International Consulting Day
This year International Consulting Day takes place on 7th June. We’d love to hear more from you about how you're planning to mark the occasion.

Online Journal
Further to great work from a number of our members we are in the process of developing a new Online Management Consulting Journal. The first edition of the journal will be available a little later in the year providing a great new way of sharing best practice and experiences. In the meantime we'd love to have your contribution and for full details on how to get involved please click here.
We want to hear from you
We'd welcome editorials on consultancy news, initiatives and examples of consultancy best practice. The editorial should be no more than 500 words in length, which we will review and publish on the website via future editions of this newsletter.
