Dr Paulina Chan CMgr CCMI is a global citizen. Her expertise is innovative technology business development and cross-disciplinary collaborations. She is a strong advocator of STEM & M(Management), in particular for young professionals and women.

She is Principal and CEO of Global Mutual Innovation Consortium, a think-tank in multiple countries. Her career includes Managing Directors and expatriates of AT&T/Lucent Technologies in the US, Asia/Pacific Region, and the EU; Project Director of Exxon/Mobil Corporation Headquarters, New York NY; China Regional General Manager and expatriate of ICO Global Communications London and Beijing; and Senior Adviser of the EU for Hungary.
Paulina is also Member & Geographic Activities Representative on Diversity and Inclusion Committee of IEEE Board of Directors;Chair, IEEE Public Visibility Committee; former Chair, IEEE Hong Kong;Former Ambassador of Imperial College London; and Champion, Imperial College Mentoring Programme.
Vivian Chih is practicing as a Barrister-at-law in Hong Kong and is the founder of the International Academy of Law and Business Administration. She holds a Master degree In international Law from the University of Bristol and a Master degree in Business Administration from both the University of Manchester and the Kelly School of Business of Indiana University.
Ms Chih is currently the legal adviser of the HK Central and Western District Association for Culture & Arts and the legal adviser of the Innovative Genius Union of HK. She is also the leading manager of the Life Empowerment network Ltd which is widely engaged in charitable and educational training programs for young people in HK.
Ms Chih treasures professional excellence and quality management of business by good professional managers. Her aspiration is to promote international exchange of good legal and business administration knowledge/practices through the honorable and referent platform of CMI.
Angel is a seasoned corporate executive currently overseeing corporate management (including ESG and CSR governance), strategic business development, and human resources for a Hong Kong-based Registered General Building Contractor (RGBC) in the building, construction, and engineering sector. With extensive expertise in financial and corporate communications, she previously advised Hong Kong-listed companies on investor and media relations strategies as a manager at a leading financial PR and investor relations consultancy. Her career foundation in enterprise solutions at global telecommunications firms, where she successfully navigated both multinational corporation (MNC) and state-owned enterprise (SOE) environments – demonstrating exceptional adaptability across organisational cultures.
Angel demonstrates a longstanding commitment to social impact through voluntary service in Hong Kong and Mainland China. She served as President of The Hong Kong Outstanding Youth Volunteers Association and, during separate terms, as a member of both the Social Welfare Department’s Shatin Co-ordinating Committee on Promotion of Volunteer Service and Co-ordinating Committee on Services for Young People. During her studies at the University of London, she conveyed student perspectives as a member of the Student Voice Group. Angel currently serves as a volunteer mentor for the Strive and Rise Programme, led by the Chief Secretary for Administration, guiding and supporting secondary students from underprivileged families in Hong Kong.
Angel holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of London, where her graduation dissertation focused on leadership succession in family businesses. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Business Psychology from the University of Hong Kong School of Professional and Continuing Education. She graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Marketing.

Dr Edward Lo is a renowned Chartered Director and Accountant with over 25 years of global experience in corporate governance, strategic leadership, human capital management, organisational transformation, and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) initiatives. His leadership spans multiple sectors – business consulting, entertainment, financial services, hospitality, and real estate – across major listed groups worldwide.
Initially trained as a psychiatrist and healthcare professional, Dr Lo leverages his diverse background to enrich his executive insights. He holds an MBA from Henley Business School and a DBA from UCAM, further supplemented by executive education at Oxford and Cambridge. His scholarly and professional endeavours have earned him the esteemed title of Professor of Practice.
As a Chartered Fellow, Dr Lo’s expertise is endorsed by elite institutes, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Consulting, the Institute of Directors, the Institute of Financial Accountants, and the Institute of Hospitality in the UK, as well as the Institute of Certified Management Accountants and the Institute of Public Accountants in Australia. He also serves as a board member of various regional non-governmental organisations.
Dr Lo’s excellence has been recognised with numerous accolades, notably the ATD Excellence in Practice Awards and the Brandon Hall Human Capital Management Excellence Awards. A distinguished speaker and thought leader, he contributes to global leadership, governance, and sustainability forums, sharing insights that shape industry best practices. His human-centric leadership style fosters innovation, resilience, and ethical excellence, driving organisations toward sustainable success.
Rui Hua heads the Hong Kong business management and investment for ESR and reports directly to co-founders and co-CEOs Jeffrey Shen and Stuart Gibson. She focuses on driving ESR’s business in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area as well as investment into new economy assets. In May 2021, she co-led and completed ESR’s first data center acquisition in Hong Kong, and in July 2022, she won ESR’s first logistic land bid in Kwai Chung, Hong Kong. Concurrently, she is also appointed as the Executive Director and Responsible Officer for the fund management arm ESR HKAM and is responsible for raising new funds to invest in new economy assets.
Rui Hua joined ESR on 1st September 2019 as the Group Head of Capital Markets and Investor Relations. She was part of the IPO team which successfully listed ESR on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 1st November 2019. Rui Hua was also part of the ESR deal team that acquired ARA Asset Management Limited with US$5.2 billion, which was one of Hong Kong’s largest M&A in 2021. In May 2022, Rui Hua led the sell-down of ESR’s CNLP stake which delivered about US$800 million gain.
Before joining ESR, Rui Hua was General Manager and Head of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance, and Corporate Planning for CapitaLand China where she was involved in fundraising from local Chinese & foreign institutional investors, capital markets and corporate finance deals, and strategic planning and direction. She also led the sell-down of CapitaLand’s S$500 million stake in a Hong Kong listed real estate company in June 2019. Prior to her stint in China, she was the Group Head of CapitaLand’s Investor Relations and Capital Markets Compliance based in Singapore, managing institutional and public investors; interfacing with regulators on corporate governance, REITs regulation, and disclosure matters; and handling key proxy providers. Rui Hua joined CapitaLand Limited in 2013 as the Assistant Vice President, Group CFO’s Office. She structured and executed CapitaLand’s key strategic projects such as privatisation of CapitaMalls Asia, and corporate finance projects like issuing and repurchasing convertible bonds.
Besides extensive real estate experience, Rui Hua also has vast investment banking experience with China International Capital Corporation and DBS Bank Ltd. She raised more than S$7.5 billion from the capital markets and many high-profile IPOs of international companies in Singapore such as Tiger Airways and Xinren Aluminum.
In 2022, Rui Hua won the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Award – Executive of the Year for Logistics. She also led the ESR team to win various IR Magazine Awards in 2022, 2021, and 2020 for the Greater China region. In 2017, Rui Hua was also voted as “Asia’s Best Investor Relations Professional (Property)” 1st place overall and sell-side in Institutional Investors’ 2017 All-Asia Executive Team Ranking. Previously, she was also named the “Best Investor Relations Officer (For Large Cap Companies)” in the IR Magazine Awards Southeast Asia 2017 and 2015. Under her leadership, CapitaLand also won 1st place for “Best at Investor Relations in Singapore” in FinanceAsia Asia’s Best Companies 2017 and “Best Investor Relations Bronze Award” (For Large Caps) in Singapore Corporate Awards 2016.
On the social front, Rui Hua currently serves as the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Regional Board for Chartered Management Institute (starting from October 2023); the advisor in the NUS Economics Alumni Committee, and a member of the Information and Corporate Relations Standing Committee of the Singapore Children’s Society. She was on the Board of Directors for Hwa Chong International School from 2017 to 2019.
Rui Hua received her Masters’ in International Public Policy (Merit) from University College London, Department of Politics, and also graduated with a BSc in Social Science, Economics (2nd Upper-Class Honors) from the National University of Singapore. In 2016, Rui Hua attended the Advanced Management Programme at Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. She is also a holder of the International Certificate of Investor Relations (ICIR) and Professional Fellow for Chartered Manager (CMgr FCMI).
Janice has over 15 years experience in sales and marketing, operations and office administration across a wide spectrum of industries covering a start-up healthcare platform – OK Care Limited; one of the largest cruise companies – Royal Caribbean Cruises Limited; a visual media provider founded by Bill Gates – Corbis Images; Local news media companies – Stylesfeed.com and Jessica Publication Limited; as well as 4As advertising companies – Bates Hong Kong Limited and Euro RSCG Partnership.
She is now running her own online wellness platform, collaborating with healthcare professionals to promote “health-consciousness” and well-being at every life stage for everyone.
She graduated with a Global MBA degree from the University of London, specializing in Entrepreneur and Innovation and a Post-graduate Certificate of Digital and Social Media Marketing by HKU Space. She was awarded the Scholarship for Woman from the University of London.
With extensive professional experience and a career track record in the fields of publishing and education, Michael is an entrepreneur who now owns and manages the Oxonia Company — a language and education consultancy with business operations in Hong Kong as well as mainland China. He leads his team in managing projects, organising events, and providing training services to clients from a variety of sectors.
Michael graduated from the University of Southern California with two BA degrees, subsequently earned an MSc degree from the University of Oxford, completed a leadership communications programme with INSEAD, and is now pursuing PhD study with the Central China Normal University where he focuses his research on educational management.
Throughout the years, he has taken on many leadership and mentoring roles. Formerly, he was the chairman of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Hong Kong, secretary of the Rotary Club of Wanchai in Hong Kong, committee member of the Young Executives Network of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, and mentor in the London Mayor’s International Business Programme based in the UK.
