CMI West Midlands & North West is the professional development and networking community for CMI members living and and/or working in WMNW. The CMI West Midlands & North West Regional Board is made up of a diverse group of CMI members who volunteer their time and experience to support and represent the needs and interests of members in their area.
We welcome non-members to attend our events and activities to find out more about what CMI has to offer.
CMI West Midlands and North West facilitates and supports professional development and networking for CMI members who live and/or work in the West Midlands and North West. The volunteers who form the Regional Board are all members within the region and believe passionately in the vision, mission and values of CMI and the importance of excellent leadership and management for all individuals and organisations.
Our focus is on our regional members, however we work closely with the CMI executive team and with neighbouring Regional Boards to support members in their development of management and leadership competencies aligned to the CMI Professional Standard and in the growth of their professional networks.
We work with members to organise events relevant to them, share best practice and information using a range of media, and build links with other professional bodies, higher and further education institutions, employers and other community partners.

Elizabeth is an Equality Diversity and Inclusion Consultant, (specialising in Race),Is a motivational speaker who highlights the intersectional experience of race & class, women, single parents, poverty, lgbt+ and disability inequality.
She has for over 25 years supported and represented the experience of ethnically diverse, women and disabled members at a national level and has been raising awareness of workplace racism, structural racism and discrimination for a similar time period.
Alongside this she is a qualified advisor on workplace relations with employers and in support of employees and has been a National executive member in a public sector union working with TUC equalities and race relations committees.
Elizabeth has been an active campaigner for those most marginalised, across local, national politics and within communities. Elizabeth Is a qualified practitioner in support of women who have experienced domestic and sexual violence.

Motivated by impact and hope, Will has previously stood for Parliament and been elected to the Executive Committee of a leading political party and think tank. Always open to new ideas and high impact opportunities, Will can also be found travelling the world with his young family.
Donna Goodall is a values‑driven leader dedicated to inspiring others while continuously developing her own professional practice. She holds a First-Class BA (Hons) in Leadership and Management through the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA) and actively maintains her CPD through the Chartered Management Institute. Donna is also a Chartered Manager, certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, trained in Agile working, and a Prosci Change Practitioner.
Donna’s career has centred on empowering people, shaping positive cultures, and delivering meaningful change. Her recent role as Project Manager enabled her to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes, putting her leadership learning into practice and strengthening her transformational leadership style. She has now stepped into the role of Collaboration Manager, where she continues to influence, connect, and drive improvement across teams and partners.
Her previous position as Social Value Lead at housing provider whg deepened her passion for community impact, stakeholder engagement, and partnership working. Donna also sat on the Social Value Leadership National Group. She learned “you can truly make a difference by offering support and resources to empower others to succeed and personally grow successfully.”
Donna serves as Deputy Chair and Regional Stakeholder Lead on the CMI West Midlands and North West Board, championing professional development, employer engagement, and inclusive leadership across the region.
Alongside her board work, Donna is an active member of the Black Country Chamber. She enjoyed over eight years as an Enterprise Advisor with the WMCA, 4 years with the West Midlands Apprentice Ambassador Network, and 7 years as a STEM Ambassador, where she volunteered extensively to support local schools with careers guidance and employability skills, and promoted apprenticeship opportunities, helping raise aspirations across the region.
Donna has contributed to the West Midlands CSR Panel and the Walsall Council Crowdfunding Panel. She also supported WASUP (World Against Single Use Plastic) as Chief Corporate Ambassador, leading monthly environmental initiatives that brought together colleagues, partners, community groups, and supply chain organisations — improving local environments while supporting mental health, wellbeing, and community resilience. Donna continues to volunteer for the Oak Tree Trust, collecting food donations from local supermarkets and distributing them to individuals and families in need.
Michelle Green is a Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, recognised for more than two decades of leadership in the design and delivery of major structural and civil engineering projects across the UK’s rail, heritage, energy, and heavy civil sectors. As Associate Technical Director at Arcadis, Michelle is renowned for driving transformational change, championing process improvements, and implementing robust project controls that deliver technical excellence and measurable value.
A Chartered Manager Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Michelle has led multi-disciplinary teams on national infrastructure programmes, consistently ensuring rigorous assurance, collaborative delivery, and on-time, within-scope results. Her strategic approach has informed organisational change at Arcadis, including the national rollout of a leadership development programme to enhance line management effectiveness across the UK rail business.
Michelle’s commitment to professional mentoring is evidenced by her role as Supervising Civil Engineer, where she has guided graduates to professional registration and coached them as they work towards chartership. As a passionate STEM Ambassador and advocate for Women in Engineering, she actively promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, establishing support networks and championing policy change in previous leadership roles.
Michelle holds an MBA in Senior Leadership, an MSc and BSc in Civil Engineering, and multiple leadership qualifications, underpinning her operational expertise with a deep understanding of strategic management. Her leadership has been recognised with industry awards for both individual and team achievements in quality, inclusion, and operational excellence.
Harry Mitchell CMgr MCMI is a Chartered Manager and people‑focused workforce development leader, recognised for designing and delivering high‑impact talent, early‑careers and performance frameworks across global, multi‑site organisations. With over nine years’ experience spanning the UK, Europe and Australia, Harry is known for shaping inclusive cultures, building capability and embedding continuous improvement that supports both people and organisational performance.
In his role as Apprenticeships & Early Careers Lead at Essity, Harry leads enterprise‑level early‑careers strategies, positioning apprenticeships and vocational routes as a core workforce and succession pipeline. He has delivered nationally recognised programmes, achieved top‑performing learner outcomes, and embedded consistent onboarding, development and performance standards across multiple sites and countries. His work combines strategic workforce planning with practical, leader‑friendly frameworks that accelerate time‑to‑competence and sustain high standards.
